Phil Mickelson Accused Of ‘Nonconsensual, Inappropriate’ Contact With Female Employee, Removed From Club: REPORT

Phil Mickelson, a star in LIV Golf who has won multiple majors, has been accused of contact with a female employee that is being branded nonconsensual and inappropriate, sources told Golf Digest. The incident allegedly happened at The Farms Golf Club, which is Mickelson’s home course. Per the report, Mickelson isn’t a club member anymore.

Prior to a golf round at the club, Mickelson walked towards a female employee, multiple sources told Golf Digest. When the golfer made an advance, she allegedly rejected him. Sources said Mickelson’s advances were “nonconsensual and inappropriate.” Following the employee reporting the allegations, Mickelson was reportedly confronted while on the golf course and told to exit the club prior to finishing his round. Tom Clare, an attorney for Mickelson, has issued a response to the Golf Digest report, alleging that video evidence contradicts the allegations. With that being said, the outlet didn’t discover any footage during the investigation as no cameras were placed where the matter allegedly took place. A club spokesperson confirmed that the alleged incident has no video connected to it.

“The Farms Golf Club is committed to maintaining a golf club environment that is safe, respectful and reflects the highest standards of conduct,” said the club while speaking with Golf Digest. “All members are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct, and any allegations of misconduct are taken seriously. Following a staff member report of member misconduct, the Club provided immediate and ongoing support to the staff member, conducted a thorough independent investigation of the incident and took decisive action. This individual is no longer a member of The Farms Golf Club.

“The Farms conducts thorough reviews of all reported matters according to California Law and takes appropriate action when warranted, consistent with our commitment to integrity, excellence and accountability. To protect the safety and privacy of our staff and members, we are unable to speak further on this matter. We appreciate your understanding.”

The allegations against Mickelson are happening months following him missing The Masters Tournament because of a “personal health matter.” At that time, a brief statement was given by Mickelson where he indicated disappointment over not competing in The Masters.

In both of golf’s majors here in 2026, Mickelson hasn’t competed. In LIV Golf, he’s only played in one tournament, taking place in mid-March where he finished T-48 at LIV South Africa.
