The former “Wheel of Fortune” host shared a video alongside the caption, “Update on life.” He wore a striped collared shirt, khaki pants, and sunglasses and stood in front of an oceanfront swimming pool surrounded by palm trees as he enthusiastically updated fans on his life.

“Hi! I know a lot of you have been wondering, asking me how I’m doing, and I’m enjoying life,” the 79-year-old said. “I moved here to Montana and everything is going just great. So, I just want to say hello.”

Fans did a double-take, and immediately flooded the comment section by mocking his questionable (potentially sarcastic) geographical reference.

“Wow! I did not know that Montana had palm trees and beaches 😁,” one person wrote.

“I didn’t know there’s water in Montana 😆” another said.

Other comments included, “lol, I’m very glad I watched that. I was not expecting that at all,” a sarcastic response of, “Ah, yes. The beautiful beaches of Montana,” and a clever message: “Pat, can I have letters ‘w’ ‘h’ ‘a’ ‘t’?”

Another person wrote, “What a nice life- even though some is imaginary😁”
