TMZ shared video footage that showed Stewart, 81, visibly struggling while singing at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah. His voice seemed strained and he appeared uncomfortable, but kept singing for several minutes while shifting his weight and leaning on instruments and equipment. He eventually made his way to the side of the stage where staffers rushed to assist him with an oxygen tank. ABC4 noted that the concert took place June 19.
Stewart showed signs of distress before the tank was rolled out for him. At one point, he dropped the mic to his side and appeared slightly slumped over. He tapped his foot to the rhythm but wasn’t belting out the hits with his usual exuberant energy.
He continued to struggle and decline until it appeared he couldn’t manage on his own, and began steadying himself as he made his way to one side of the stage.
Several attendants assisted the famous signer as he stood in plain view of the live audience and deeply inhaled through the oxygen mask.

He didn’t pause for long before he slowly stumbled back to center stage while saying, “The show must go on!”
“I nearly fucking fainted,” he quipped as he made his way to the stairs onstage
“Would you mind if I sit down?” he said on the mic.

It’s unclear what happened to cause this strain on his body, but TMZ noted that West Valley City is approximately 4,300 above sea level, and the altitude may have been a factor.
Stewart canceled his San Diego concert with very little notice earlier in June, saying laryngitis was to blame, according to the outlet.
