REPORT: Police Arrest Legendary Olympic Skier Bode Miller On Drug Charges

Police in Idaho reportedly arrested Olympian Bode Miller on drug charges stemming from an alleged incident June 6.

Court records indicated the professional skier was charged with two misdemeanors; one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a TMZ report published Tuesday.

Miller entered a not guilty plea to both charges. He posted a $5,000 cash bond and was released from police custody.

Court records show Miller’s attorney filed an appearance on his behalf, and the case remains active, according to TMZ.

No further details were provided about the nature of the alleged incident, or the circumstances surrounding the charges, as of Tuesday late afternoon.

The six-time Olympic medalist and Team USA legend is one of the most decorated alpine skiers in American history. Among his many accolades is a gold medal win at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and two overall World Cup titles. He retired from professional skiing in 2017.
