‘Absolutely Unacceptable’: Caitlin Clark Basically Gets Beat Up On Court, Refs Look Away
The WNBA referees ignored a moment in Wednesday’s basketball game where Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark was essentially beaten up on the court.

Clark fell to the floor while three Phoenix Mercury players surrounded her, trying to get possession of the ball. As Clark hit the ground, Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas fell on top of her, with her knee in Clark’s groin and her fist to Clark’s neck, as Clark’s head hit the ground. Clark attempted to cover herself as the players continued to trip over her.
Meanwhile, the referees did not acknowledge the altercation, and the game continued.
“We have a generational talent and a WNBA superstar who had two cheap shots right there that weren’t called. And I just say again, absolutely unacceptable,” Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White said after the game.

“I’m not sure if it had any impact on her health or not, but it was egregious,” White said.
This incident happened just a day after Clark received a technical foul for clapping. (RELATED: WNBA’s Disrespect Towards Caitlin Clark Just Hit All-Time High)
“I still say the one thing we keep asking for is consistency,” White said. “She is not called the same way everyone else is called.”
