Police Issue Shocking Update After Wife Of Kansas City Chiefs Coach Was Allegedly Shot By Son
Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman confirmed that Eric Bieniemy’s wife, Mia, personally called for help after her son allegedly shot her twice.

Chapman spoke to WJLA Monday and said the victim called police for assistance at approximately 7:30 pm Sunday, while her son Elijah reportedly remained inside the home.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZp8UjZOOy0Chapman said police arrived and located Elijah at the scene of the alleged shooting. Police arrested him on charges of malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharge of a firearm inside a dwelling.
Chapman went on to say Mia suffered “multiple” gunshot wounds, before clarifying she was shot twice. ESPN reported that the wife of the Kansas City Chiefs coach was shot in the chest and arm.

“She was shot a couple of times, and we have to go through an entire investigation to find out exactly where everybody was, what they did, what prompted it, how it all transpired,” Chapman told WJLA. (RELATED: Wife Of Kansas City Chiefs Coach Eric Bieniemy Shot Inside Home)
“But we’re conducting that investigation right now.”

Chapman described the matter as a “domestic disturbance” that was family-related, and noted there was no concern for public safety.
