Chick-Fil-A Announces Classic Southern Dish As New Special Offering

Chick-fil-A will offer a Chicken and Waffles Sandwich to guests for a limited time, the popular fast food chain said in an Aug. 12 press release. The sandwich will be available as both breakfast and entree options and features “maple-flavored waffles, a signature Chick-fil-A filet, three strips of applewood smoked bacon and honey butter spread, served warm with a side of classic syrup,” according to the same release.
Guests can customize their sandwiches by selecting an original, spicy, or grilled chicken filet. Chick-fil-A is launching the new meal option following a limited-time test in 2025. (RELATED: First US Deaths Related To Diarrhea-Causing Parasite Reported)
In addition, the fast-food chain is offering two new beverages: a S’mores Milkshake and a S’mores Frosted Coffee. Both items feature marshmallow-flavored syrup and graham cracker crumbles.
The new meal and beverage operations are launching as part of Chick-fil-A’s “Newstalgia” campaign, which celebrates 80 years of “quality, service and care.”

“In this year of Newstalgia-inspired celebrations, we wanted to bring something unique this fall by reimagining the comforting flavors our Guests crave this time of year, delivering a taste that feels both familiar and new to appeal to all ages.”
“Both Chicken & Waffles and S’mores are much-loved classics, and we challenged ourselves to bring those flavors to our menu in a playful and unexpected way. After seeing the incredible response and excitement from Guests in our test markets, we couldn’t wait to share these flavors nationwide,” she said.
While the Chicken and Waffles breakfast sandwich costs $4.95, and the entree option costs $7.95, prices may vary by location, according to USA Today. Chick-fil-A typically serves breakfast until 10:30 a.m.
The launch of the Chicken and Waffles Sandwich purposely coincides with National Waffle Day, according to 11Alive.com.
