According to a report from ESPN, which cited a source, the deal is for one year. (RELATED: Ceyair Wright Leaves Bengals To Pursue Film, Television Opportunities)

Attending DeSoto High School in Texas prior to playing college football at Texas A&M, Miller is going into his 15th campaign. Miller’s 138.5 career sacks give him more than any other current player in the league.

“Hereee Weee Gooo,” posted Miller on social media, joined with a photo of himself wearing a Dallas uniform.

The 37-year-old Miller will now be featured in a pass-rush rotation that includes first-round pick Malachi Lawrence, Rashan Gary and Donovan Ezeiruaku, and possibly Marist Liufau, Sam Williams and James Houston.

I love this addition for the Dallas Cowboys, both from a football perspective and the homecoming.

Say what you want about the whole “Von is old” thing, and I’ve seen a lot of those comments on social media, but this is the same guy who just tallied nine sacks in 2025 with the Washington Commanders. I’m just saying, there are guys younger than him that can’t get nine sacks in a season. The man is clearly still elite.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have the Cowboys winning the Super Bowl or anything, but I do think the addition of Miller bumps them up to a 9-8 or 10-7 record in 2026, which puts them directly in the hunt for an NFC Wild Card spot.

And you know how the NFL playoffs go. All you have to do is make it. From there, anything can happen.
