Suge, who was in the vehicle with the legendary rapper when he was shot and killed, told TMZ in an article published Wednesday that Shakur’s mother wanted him cremated immediately. He said he was put in touch with a man at the funeral home the night of the murder, and went on to pay the man $1.2 million to expedite the cremation process.

Suge claimed Shakur’s mother invited him and her son’s closest friends and family members to a hotel in Las Vegas where they rolled Shakur’s ashes into blunts and smoked them.

He told the outlet that he was initially informed that the funeral home was busy for several days and unable to speed up Shakur’s cremation.

He claimed he obtained the man’s address and attended his residence with two bags full of money. Suge claimed one bag contained $200,000, and the other contained $1,000,000. The first bag was offered to the man, but he insisted he could not cremate Shakur that same night.

Suge said he insisted on it and offered the man both bags at the same time to get it done immediately, and he ultimately complied, according to TMZ. (RELATED: Suge Knight Drops New Information Ahead Of Tupac Shakur Murder Trial)

Suge admitted he was on probation at the time, and decided not to participate in smoking his friend’s ashes for fear that it would constitute a violation of the conditions of his release, according to TMZ.

Shakur’s alleged murderer, “Keefe D,” is on trial. Suge insists that he was not the only one involved. Suge has stated he is reluctant to testify.
