‘You Don’t Want To Say Anything Now?’: Bubba Watson Calls Out Unruly Fan To His Face During LIV Golf Indianapolis

Daaamn! Who knew Bubba Watson was such a gangsta?!

During the second round of LIV Golf Indianapolis at The Club at Chatham Hills, Bubba Watson ended up having enough of a fan’s antics, so much to the point that he ended up confronting them in what was a wild scene.

Playing with Bryson DeChambeau and Lee Westwood in LIV’s season finale, Watson was seen on video approaching a fan who was heard yelling while Westwood was getting prepared to take his approach shot. (RELATED: Did Sergio Garcia’s Bad Attitude Cause LIV Golf To Lose Its PIF Funding?)

“Bryson, Bryson,” shouted the fan prior to Westwood stepping off his ball and Watson walking over to him. From there, Watson confronted the individual, and like most people do when they find themselves in a situation like this after running their mouth, they got as quiet as a church mouse.

“Oh, you don’t want to say anything now? Say something, I’m looking at ya, say it,” said Watson to the fan.

Golf fans have gotten way too comfortable over the last few years thinking a general admission ticket doubles as a license to act like an obnoxious heckler at a comedy club.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for fans having fun, but it’s like we’ve forgotten that players are still trying to hit a small ball with a metal stick while under immense pressure. We still need to respect the game, people.

Golf doesn’t need to return to country-club silence, but it definitely needs more players willing to look unruly fans dead in the eye and call their bluff.
