The subject of the Trump-world ire is specifically commentary pushed by Emily Schrader, a media personality with the Jerusalem News Syndicate (JNS), a pro-Israel news and commentary outlet whose coverage generally reflects a conservative, right-leaning perspective. Schrader hosts JNS’s Axis of Truth podcast and co-hosts The Quad, a JNS YouTube show. Notably, JNS serves as a quasi-wire service for numerous Jewish-oriented publications across the U.S. (RELATED: Israel Could Be Propagandizing Christians At A Church Near You. Here’s How)

Since at least 2025, Schrader has used both her social media platforms and JNS to push unsubstantiated claims against the vice president. As well as level personal insults.

In a post on X earlier this summer, Schrader referred to Vance as a “clown,” and in another made the outlandish suggestion that the vice president “wants the [Iranian] regime to survive lol.”

Schrader, in a July X post, appears to mock the idea that an “Israeli conspiracy” could be amplifying criticism of Vance, claiming instead that “national security experts have watched him misread the regime, smear allies, ignore Qatar’s documented influence operations, and now even portray 94 million Iranians as a terrorist threat.” Despite brushing aside allegations of a foreign-sourced effort to smear the vice president, Schrader is very open about her own foreign interests, describing herself on her personal website as an “American-Israeli journalist, author, and human rights activist” focused on Israeli and Iranian affairs.

Importantly, JNS, which hosts much of Schrader’s content, has received significant funding from the Adelson Family Foundation, according to a Jewish Telegraphic Agency report. Established by Sheldon and Miriam Adelson, both major donors to Republican and Trump-aligned causes, the Adelson Family Foundation committed at least $1.2 million to JNS, including $300,000 in 2013, $450,000 in 2014, and another $450,000 pledged.

More recently, Inside Philanthropy listed JNS among the foundation’s recent Israel advocacy grantees.

Aside from JNS, Schrader also appears frequently as a host on ILTV Israel News, which bills itself as “an independent English-language media company based in Tel Aviv, Israel that provides daily Israel news and entertainment to its viewers,” and “Israel’s Largest English News Channel.” ILTV was owned by Simon Falic — a close friend and ally of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — and David Herzog up until May 2026, when it was sold to New York tech entrepreneur Reuven Moskowitz and the network’s CEO, Tom Zadok.

In 2025, Reuven Moskowitz bought a sprawling — over 18,000 square feet — mansion on Hadar Street in Caesarea for an estimated $26.3 million, as reported by Globes. According to the outlet, Arkady Gaydamak, a Russian-Israeli businessman, previously owned the property. The mansion’s location is notable as it makes Reuven Moskowitz effectively neighbors with Prime Minister Netanyahu, whose private residence is on the same small exclusive street.

Despite numerous concerning connections to foreign interests — not least some running to the very top of the Israeli government — the same charge is a favorite of Schrader. Earlier this month, she attacked Vance over hosting an RNC fundraiser with what she characterized as “foreigners with alarming ties to Qatar.” She went on to assert that “suspicious and anti-American interests” were pouring money into Vance’s political operation.

In a video posted to her YouTube channel, Schrader similarly accused Donald Trump Jr. of doing business with individuals who have “concerning ties to Qatar” while alleging that he was selling access to the West Wing.

Schrader and JNS’s foreign ties have drawn scrutiny from a former Trump administration official, who told the Caller, “Textbook foreign interference. This leftist foreign agitator masquerading as a conservative hides behind her YouTube to lie about the Vice President and the President’s son. She should disclose which foreign governments are paying her.”

Another Republican, close to the White House, told the Daily Caller, “It is very concerning that Emily Schrader, an Israeli journalist at an Israeli outlet funded by Israeli citizens, is interfering in the American political system, lecturing us, and acting like a conservative Republican. Meanwhile, this same person has bashed President Trump, Vice President Vance, and praised Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton.”

Schrader’s broader social media history also raises questions about her political positioning. Posts obtained by the Caller dating from 2020 through 2026 show her repeatedly criticizing Trump and aspects of his foreign policy.

In one post, she argued that a deal Trump was considering with the Islamic Republic would be worse for the region and the world than former President Barack Obama’s Iran nuclear agreement and could define his legacy as one of weakness and failure.

In another, she called one of Trump’s foreign policy decisions his worst yet, describing it as an embarrassment to the United States while emphasizing that South Korea was a key U.S. ally and North Korea was an oppressive communist dictatorship.

A separate YouTube post features Schrader calling Trump a “psycho who says really disgusting sexist things.”

Other posts show Schrader expressing support for prominent Democrats, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Vice President Kamala Harris, and former President Joe Biden, including praise for his foreign policy views.

Another former senior administration official, responding to Schrader’s posts, wrote to the Daily Caller: “Emily Schrader is a Democrat, who’s applauded Harris, Clinton, and Biden, while pretending to be a conservative online. We’ve seen this before; foreign governments are bankrolling influencers and bot networks to steer U.S. debates on Iran and other hot-button issues.” (RELATED: Israel Rejects Trump’s Hamas Peace Plan)

“If you’re seeing coordinated hits on POTUS and the VP’s negotiations, that’s not organic outrage, that’s sponsored foreign influence masquerading as American voices,” the official wrote.

The Daily Caller reached out to Schrader for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
