Max Kellerman Issues Apology After Ridiculously Comparing James Harden To President Trump

This guy is such a goof.

Max Kellerman, a former host for ESPN, made himself a news story recently following criticism of Cleveland Cavaliers star James Harden for another trash postseason performance, doing so by making a ridiculous comparison to President Donald Trump.

“Bringing in James Harden to win a championship is like electing Donald Trump to fix your country,” stated Kellerman while speaking on his “Game Over” podcast Wednesday. (RELATED: Max Kellerman Blasts James Harden’s Trash Performance With Incredibly Ridiculous Trump Comparison)

Well, Kellerman has now issued an apology over his comments, saying that it was too much. I prefer to brand it “stupid.”

“I shouldn’t have said that because it’s not fair to James Harden. I did not mean to insult him publicly in a way that was going to go viral. It was too severe,” said Kellerman during his Netflix podcast Friday, per OutKick.

“I don’t think it’s as bad as all that. I don’t think it’s as bad as electing Trump to fix your country, but that’s the idea. That’s the opposite of what you’d do if you’re trying to get a certain result.”

I like how he apologizes, but in the same breath, doubles down on his Trump Derangement Syndrome. But whatever, I’m not going to let this clown ruin my Memorial Day, I’ve got too many hamburgers and hot dogs to eat for that. Oh, and baseball to watch.
