45 Seconds Into Softball Interview, Netanyahu Tells Mark Levin He Wants To Drag The US Even Deeper Into Iran War
Less than a minute into Mark Levin’s softball interview with Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, the Israeli prime minister, should he win re-election, said his goal for the remainder of President Donald Trump’s last two years in office would be to drag the United States deeper into the Iran War.

“What is it that you want to do in the last two years of Donald Trump’s presidency? What would you do?” Levin asked.
“Achieve the complete elimination of the Iranian threat to Israel, to America, and to the world,” Netanyahu responded. “This is a regime that chants ‘death to Israel,’ ‘death to America’ — you’re the real target. I think we are well on our way to achieving this with President Trump’s brilliant leadership, both militarily and then economic blockade, very effective. Let’s complete the job and have the people of Iran seize their own future. It changes the Middle East.” (RELATED: ‘I’m Going To Die’: Video Shows Israeli Settlers Brutally Attacking WaPo Journalist, Beating Her With Clubs)
Netanyahu then went on to say that his second goal would be expanding the Abraham Accords with new peace agreements. His third, he said, would be to capitalize on new artificial intelligence technologies to bolster different economic sectors, including agriculture and transportation, as well as education.

Throughout the 30-minute interview, Levin made no mention of recent attacks in the West Bank by Israeli settlers that have targeted European diplomats and a 64-year-old Washington Post photographer, Heidi Levine, who was left hospitalized Friday. Multiple videos showed masked Israeli settlers repeatedly beating Levine with clubs and kicking her while she was on the ground. Settlers have also targeted and killed several U.S. citizens during Trump’s second term — a fact that Levin’s stepson, David Milstein, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee’s top aide, allegedly downplayed to make his host country look better. Netanyahu is facing a tough re-election campaign this year. Just over a week out from election day in Israel, polls show that challenger Gadi Eisenkot and the Yashar party have a steady lead over Netanyahu and the Likud party. However, neither political faction has enough support to secure a 61-seat majority in the Knesset, according to the Jerusalem Post. Other politicians challenging Netanyahu within the opposition bloc include Yair Lapid, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Yair Golan, and Avigdor Liberman.
