According to The New York Post, a caller dialed 911 and stated, \u201cI am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin,\u201d prompting first responders to rush to the 19200 block of Erwin Street in Tarzana. Upon arrival, police discovered 81-year-old Handy unconscious in the front yard of a residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest. The outlet reported that he was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts.<\/p>\n

A news release from the Los Angeles Police Department stated that 44-year-old Michael Gledhill allegedly flagged down officers at the scene and surrendered, according to The New York Post.<\/p>\n
