\u201cWe gotta tell our kids the truth, that this is a racist-ass country,\u201d <\/span>yelled<\/span> a woman dressed in what appeared to be a Black Panther uniform. She further directed an individual (or the nation, perhaps) to \u201cstop that coon-ass shit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t nobody want to hear about what we do to each other. We talking about what they doing to us,\u201d she continued. \u201cWhite folks kill white folks. Mexicans kill Mexicans. We ain\u2019t trying to hear no coon shit today. Go over there to them white folks with that. This is a racist-ass country!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The pantheress claimed Texas is a \u201cracist-ass state\u201d and that the trial was taking place in a \u201cracist-ass court,\u201d as she continued her tirade against white people.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Another woman <\/span>argued<\/span> Anthony was acting in self-defense.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnytime a white man, or a white child, go and put their hands aggressively on anybody, and something like this occur, it\u2019s self-defense,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou put your hand on me and see how I respond,\u201d she told her interviewer.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Another woman chimed in: \u201cBeat your motherfuckin\u2019 ass.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s class.<\/p>\n

The original interviewee continued, saying, \u201cWe gon\u2019 stand behind him and we gon\u2019 fight,\u201d eliciting a chorus of agreement from the women surrounding her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The woman noted she has no relation to the family, other than belonging to the same race: <\/span>\u201cWe\u2019re brothers, we\u2019re black, we\u2019re brothers and sisters, we\u2019re blacks, we\u2019re the indigenous people of this earth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the verdict, one supporter of Anthony verbally <\/span>harassed<\/span> deputies protecting the courthouse, telling the officers they should be \u201cashamed.\u201d The woman appeared to single out a black deputy, telling him, \u201cThat\u2019s one of y\u2019alls that was in there. But you guys don\u2019t give a fuck until it\u2019s at your front door. Anthony and Metcalf attended different schools. After Anthony entered Metcalf\u2019s school\u2019s tent, Metcalf asked him to leave. The two had a short argument before Anthony fatally stabbed Metcalf in the heart. Metcalf died in his twin brother\u2019s arms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anthony\u2019s defense attorneys claimed the teenager acted in self-defense. The jury, evidently, disagreed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
