Vice President JD Vance discussed the divide on the right on SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cThe Megyn Kelly Show\u201d on Tuesday, stemming from the administration\u2019s war on Iran.<\/p>\n

He said that those discouraged with any of the administration\u2019s positions should only be determined to get more involved instead of giving up entirely. (RELATED: Vance Crosses Into Enemy Territory On \u2018The View\u2019)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kelly described a \u201ccivil war over on the conservative team\u201d since the start of the war, saying that many noninterventionist supporters of President Donald Trump feel that they have been betrayed by his decision to begin strikes on a nation on the other side of the world.<\/p>\n

Vance said that he would point those critics to consider \u201call how this has led to a good place for the United States of America,\u201d suggesting that the best argument for it is that Iran\u2019s nuclear program and its conventional military have been destroyed.<\/p>\n

However, Vance also acknowledged the criticisms of the administration\u2019s actions, noting that \u201cfolks are frustrated\u201d for\u00a0both the \u201ctemporary rise in energy prices that\u2019s already coming down substantially\u201d and a large portion of the right\u2019s frustration with the role that Israel has in the conflict.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you can make the best argument that where we are right now is a good place for the United States of America,\u201d Vance said. \u201cThe second argument I\u2019d make is this: Even if you disagree with this particular action, it\u2019s completely ridiculous to pick up your marbles and go home. That\u2019s not how politics works.\u201d<\/p>\n
