However the club canceled the contest, a club statement read Wednesday. The Pride festivities are set continue without the game. The club noted the team would resume playing Friday at Wellspan Park and said the players\u2019 actions did not represent the organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be clear; this action by the players is completely inconsistent with our vision as the Most Welcoming Place in York,\u201d the York Revolution said.<\/p>\n<p>As a token of their \u201cregret,\u201d the Revolution pledged to donate $10,000 to the Rainbow Rose Center, a nonprofit that claims to help the \u201cLGBTQIA+ community\u201d in the area.
