The video shows Vickrum Digwa, the killer of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, repeatedly lying to British police as they questioned him about the \u201caltercation\u201d that led to Henry\u2019s death.<\/p>

After murdering Nowak in December, Digwa was jailed for life with a minimum of 21 years in June. He was also sentenced for carrying a knife in public.<\/p>

Law enforcement did not handcuff Digwa as they questioned him in the video, nor when they later arrested him. The police, however, handcuffed the prostrate and bleeding Nowak in another disturbing bodycam video that sparked protests in England.<\/p>

The Friday footage showed Digwa telling police he had been \u201cracially attacked.\u201d The police officer assured him, \u201cI know, I know, I know. Okay \u2014 I know.\u201d<\/p>

When Nowak told law enforcement he had \u201cbeen stabbed\u201d and couldn\u2019t breathe, one officer replied, \u201cI don\u2019t think you have, mate,\u201d and another denied it, saying, \u201cHe hasn\u2019t been stabbed.\u201d<\/p>

Police took nearly eight minutes to discover Nowak\u2019s four stab wounds after they arrived, The Independent reported. (RELATED: Washington State Democrats Find New Way To Defund The Police)<\/strong><\/p>

The footage released Friday shows police arriving on the murder scene, where they were immediately lied to by both Digwa and his father. The killer\u2019s father, Moga Singh, told police that \u201cthe gentleman that\u2019s on the floor assaulted my son.\u201d Digwa claimed Nowak \u201cbarged\u201d into him and was clearly \u201cdrunk.\u201d<\/p>

Judge William Mousley KC reported Nowak had been drinking less than the drink-drive limit.<\/p>

\u201cHe then started escalating the situation. Called me a Paki and all sorts of stuff,\u201d Digwa said, falsely claiming just minutes after the stabbing that Nowak had racially abused him.<\/p>

\u201c[Nowak] then called me, \u2018Oh, you Pakis think you\u2019re [\u2026] bad men.\u2019 And I said, \u2018Yeah, I am a bad man.\u2019 He then started recording me. Obviously, then I pushed him. He then grabbed me, then started grabbing my turban, pulled my hair, started grabbing my hair, punching me, and all this sort of stuff,\u201d Digwa told police.<\/p>

\u201cSo I\u2019m a Sikh,\u201d Digwa explained.<\/p>

The murderer told police his brother had intervened and stopped the fight. \u201cAnd that\u2019s when [Nowak] then started stumbling around,\u201d Digwa lied. Digwa\u2019s brother had called the police and told them Vickrum had been \u201cracially\u201d attacked, the BBC reported.<\/p>

\u201cThis isn\u2019t the first time something like this has happened here,\u201d Digwa protested. \u201cWe\u2019ve lived here since I\u2019ve been four or five and we\u2019ve had it recently.\u201d<\/p>

Digwa also told police officers his family had helped Nowak afterward, \u201cWe saw that he started bleeding, so my dad just pinned him up against \u2014 more like sat him up against the wall, just to see that he\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>

No charges were brought against Vickrum Digwa\u2019s brother for Nowak\u2019s murder, although he also allegedly lied to police. Digwa\u2019s mother, who hid the knife, was found guilty of assisting an offender and will be sentenced July 17. Vickrum, his father, and brother all face a weapons offense charge after over 20 weapons were discovered by police in their home.<\/p>

When an officer asked Digwa, \u201cDo you know how he\u2019s got that wound, then?\u201d, the killer responded, \u201cWhat wound, sir?\u201d<\/p>

Digwa told the police the blood \u201cmust have been when we punched him. But he just fall over here, so he was climbing all over these bins and stuff like that, and then he [\u2026] fell over and landed onto that cart, sir.\u201d<\/p>

Police appeared to offer no pushback to Digwa\u2019s account, repeatedly saying \u201cokay\u201d as he lied to them. (RELATED: ROOKE: Everything Happening In The UK Is Predictable And Coming For The US)<\/strong><\/p>

At one point in the footage, Digwa acted bothered by the police lights and started shielding his eyes. \u201cSorry, can you turn the flashes off?\u201d he asked the police.<\/p>

After police responded, \u201cWe can\u2019t, man, I\u2019m afraid,\u201d Digwa complained about his swollen eye and asked to move to another part of the yard, which police complied with.<\/p>

When police told Digwa they were arresting him \u201con suspicion of attempted murder,\u201d Digwa responded, \u201cWhat do you mean attempted murder? Why am I getting arrested?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cMate, I\u2019ve been racially attacked,\u201d Digwa told the policeman.<\/p>

The officer said, \u201cYou\u2019ve got your side of the story, mate. We don\u2019t know what\u2019s gone on here, okay? So we\u2019ll see if we can just find out, okay?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cI\u2019m not saying you\u2019ve done anything, mate,\u201d the policeman assured him.<\/p>

The Hampshire police are under investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct, The Guardian reported.<\/p>
