{"id":2495,"date":"2026-06-27T16:05:52","date_gmt":"2026-06-27T16:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=2495"},"modified":"2026-06-27T16:05:52","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T16:05:52","slug":"something-that-we-will-not-ever-accept-mamdani-suggests-hell-defy-supreme-courts-immigration-ruling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=2495","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Something That We Will Not Ever Accept\u2019: Mamdani Suggests He\u2019ll Defy Supreme Court\u2019s Immigration Ruling"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_1 --> <\/p>\n<p><span>New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani released a defiant message in response to the Supreme Court\u2019s ruling on the federal government\u2019s termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syrian and Haitian aliens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=2493\">Democrats Neutered By Trump-Hating Base Can\u2019t Even Bring Themselves To Praise World Cup Success<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>In a 6-3 decision released Thursday, the Supreme Court <\/span><span> that the \u201cTPS statute bars judicial review of non-constitutional claims,\u201d meaning the Department of Homeland Security has the right to proceed in terminating the TPS status of Haitians and Syrians.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani began his <\/span><span>address<\/span><span> by invoking \u201cempathy and solidarity with Haitian and Syrian New Yorkers.\u201d <\/span><b>(RELATED: NYC Councilman Accuses Mayor Zohran Mamdani Of Only Helping Parts Of City That Voted For Him)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>A little over 84,000 foreign-born Haitians <\/span><span> in New York City as of 2023, according to a 2026 report from the city.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani continued, claiming the Supreme Court made \u201ca decision that is putting so many people\u2019s lives in jeopardy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_2 --> <\/p>\n<p><span>He emphasized the city must move \u201cbeyond just language of solidarity\u201d and take \u201cactions of solidarity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani encouraged those \u201cworried about what this means for [their] status\u201d or \u201cworried about what this means for [their] family\u201d to call the Mayor\u2019s Office of Immigrant Affairs hotline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_3 --> <\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani then stressed the enormous number of foreign-born New York City residents: \u201cNow, many of you know this is a city of eight and a half million people. More than three million of us were born elsewhere. I\u2019m one of them. And when we think about especially what Haitian New Yorkers have had to deal with, not just for weeks or months or years, but frankly for decades, we have seen a cruelty that has become normalized.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=2491\">Over 900 Believed Dead Days After Twin Earthquakes Rock Venezuela<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Still, hundreds of thousands of Haitians apparently prefer American cruelty to whatever is going on in Haiti.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani devotes all of his sympathies to immigrants. There is no indication that Mamdani cares about the effect of immigration on the native population. In fact, he barely seems to draw a distinction between \u201cnative\u201d and \u201calien.\u201d A Haitian or Syrian migrant transforms into a genuine New Yorker the moment he sets foot on a piece of grimy Big Apple pavement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani continued, saying of Haitians: \u201cAnd to have a people who have frankly taught the world about freedom have their own freedom be put in jeopardy by the actions of a Supreme Court and a federal administration, it is not only cruel, it\u2019s something that we will not ever accept.\u201d <\/span><b>(RELATED: Mamdani\u2019s Bone-Chilling Pledge Shows Depths He\u2019s Willing To Go With Government Force)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Mamdani seems to be referring to the Haitian Revolution, which famously ended with black Haitians massacring the white French colonists. Jean-Jacques Dessalines, the leader of the Revolution and the first ruler of independent Haiti, ordered the massacre, taking a cross-country tour to ensure his plan was executed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Also, note Mamdani\u2019s implication: to force Haitians to live in Haiti among other Haitians would be an act of tremendous cruelty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>I\u2019m reminded of a recent interaction between White House official Stephen Miller and a reporter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The reporter asked: \u201cDoes the administration consider Haiti a safe country?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cFor Haitians? Absolutely,\u201d Miller responded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHaitians live in Haiti,\u201d Miller explained. \u201cIt is not our position that Haitians should leave Haiti \u2026 It would be crazy for us to say that Haitians couldn\u2019t live in Haiti. It\u2019s their country.
