We\u2019re going to keep this Monday\u2019s brief and punchy.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Have you ever heard the phrase, \u201chell hath no fury\u201d?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Do you know how it ends?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Scott, Jeff Bezos\u2019s ex wife, went viral over the weekend because of her monstrous charitable giving to all the worst actors in lefty activism.<\/span><\/p>\n

She made roughly $40 billion off the divorce in 2019, and has since given approximately $26 billion of it away (don\u2019t worry, Dear Reader, she remains very much a billionaire). She wants to give the entirety of it away before she dies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Liberals are simply ecstatic about Scott\u2019s giving, and it\u2019s no shock as to why.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\"\"\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAlmost entirely\u201d might be a bit of an overstatement here on Katie Miller\u2019s behalf. Still, a conservative analysis of her charitable giving would peg somewhere around half of that total going to viciously leftist causes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scott herself has explicitly said she wanted to support \u201cracial equity\u201d and immigration and Alphabet People. She gave a half a billion to racial justice groups, including to the \u201cMovement for Black Lives,\u201d which agitates for prison abolition. She dumped money into the <\/span>Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR) and the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL)<\/span>. <\/span>Both of these organizations lobby hard for \u201cvoter access,\u201d a euphemism for loose registration and voter by mail processes. She gave ~$50 million to the Trevor Project, an online grooming organization that convinces kids they\u2019re transgender and then encourages them to castrate themselves. She gave another ~$250 million to Planned Parenthood. We all know what they do. I haven\u2019t touched the open borders or climate change organizations she\u2019s given to, but you get the point.<\/span><\/p>\n

More directly, Scott\u2019s activist spending goes to abolishing police, the borders, modern energy, institutionalizing explicit racism in hiring and college admissions, grooming and castrating minors, aborting babies, and increasing voter fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n

Basically: Bringing down western civilization.<\/span><\/p>\n

The other half of her spending went to genuinely good (imo) organizations. Big Brothers and Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, feeding the poor and so on. Which begs the question: Rather than pay people who pay people who pay people to buy housing and food for poor people, why not just invest in companies that do housing and food development?<\/span><\/p>\n

Too capitalist I guess?<\/span><\/p>\n

Kleiner Perkins famously invested in Amazon in one of the greatest VC stories of tech history. They gave Bezos $8 million in a 1996 Series A. When Amazon went public the following year, it would have paid out roughly $60 million if they sold right then.<\/span><\/p>\n

If they held, that sum now would be more like $50-100 billion. Incidentally, about as much as Scott walked away with after the divorce.<\/span><\/p>\n

The money she\u2019s spending is gone as soon as it leaves her fingers. It goes down the labyrinthine NGO-to-NGO corridor and what comes out the other end, however diluted by nonprofit executive pay, has about a 50% chance of contributing materially to bringing about the end of western civilization.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for creating tangible, lasting products, those don\u2019t seem to be a major result of the staggering sum she\u2019s spent.<\/span><\/p>\n

An astute observer pointed out what Carnegie did with a fraction of the funds.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the very least, the Carnegie buildings remain.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Scott building? Nothing that will last.<\/span><\/p>\n
