After an on-and-off two-year relationship, a highly intoxicated Platner entered Racicot\u2019s home uninvited in 2021 and forced himself on top of her, despite her protests that he stop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI remember him grabbing my pelvis and being really forceful of me,\u201d Racicot said. \u201cI remember the specific moment where I thought to myself, like, \u2018This is no longer my choice.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Racicot claims that during the alleged sexual assault, Platner ejaculated inside her against her will, Politico reported, noting that Racicot says she was not on birth control at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Platner denied the allegations in a statement to Politico, saying, \u201cThese allegations are troubling, serious, and false. Any accusation of non-consensual behavior is categorically untrue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_2 --> <\/p>\n<p>Platner posted a video to his Senate campaign\u2019s X account shortly after the Politico piece was published. Racicot told the Times she cut off contact with Platner after he arrived at her home drunk and engaged in \u201cunsettling\u201d and \u201creckless\u201d behavior, though she declined to provide further details of the incident.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_3 --> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I saw the old comments that he made online,\u201d she told the Times, \u201cI recognized a version of him that I had experiences with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Racicot did not disclose the sexual assault for fear of being labeled a rape victim, she told Politico.
