A new alleged video shows Republican Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell being loaded into an ambulance.<\/p>\n

The video shows emergency responders taking McConnell to an ambulance on a stretcher after being called to his home last month for a report of an unconscious person, according to a CNN report.<\/p>\n

The previously unreported footage and the neighbor\u2019s account offer new details about the circumstances surrounding McConnell\u2019s hospitalization, which has remained largely shrouded in mystery. A neighbor of McConnell said they stepped outside their home around 8:30 a.m. on June 14 to find a heavy emergency response, with two ambulances, a fire truck, and Capitol Police officers blocking the entire street. Roughly 30 minutes later, the neighbor said they watched first responders remove a person on a stretcher from McConnell\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n

McConnell\u2019s prolonged hospitalization has fueled speculation about his condition. Several Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader John Thune, have said they have recently spoken with the Kentucky senator.<\/p>\n

Videos recorded by the neighbor show emergency personnel transporting the individual toward an ambulance. Because the footage was captured from a distance, the person\u2019s face is not visible. After the stretcher was loaded into the ambulance, the individual\u2019s lower legs appear to be covered with an orange blanket while their feet remain exposed.<\/p>\n

The neighbor said they asked officers what had happened and were told there had been a \u201cmedical emergency.\u201d When they specifically asked whether McConnell was the one experiencing the emergency, officers replied they \u201cwould block the street for anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although the neighbor said they never saw the person\u2019s face, they said another eyewitness later told them the individual on the stretcher was McConnell and that he was not wearing an oxygen mask.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s in a stretcher, and he\u2019s in some sort like orange foam-looking blanket type thing,\u201d the neighbor said. During the brief moment the feet were visible, they appeared to be \u201cnot moving.\u201d<\/p>\n

The neighbor also recalled another resident saying, \u201cOh yeah, it\u2019s Mitch, I saw his face,\u201d according to the report.<\/p>\n

At the time of the incident, a spokesperson for McConnell said only that he had been \u201cadmitted to the hospital this morning\u201d and was \u201creceiving excellent care.\u201d<\/p>\n

An EMS dispatch audio recording previously\u00a0published\u00a0by independent journalist Desir\u00e9e Townsend indicated emergency crews were sent to McConnell\u2019s Washington, D.C., residence for an \u201cunconscious\u201d person experiencing a \u201ccardiac arrest.\u201d During the recording, someone can also be heard saying, \u201cCPR in progress.\u201d\u00a0(RELATED: Is It Really This Hard For Politicians To Admit The Truth About Their Health?)<\/strong>
