Charles Barkley admitted he skipped the highly anticipated wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, choosing a day on the golf course instead.<\/p>

The 63-year-old sports analyst appeared on the July 7 episode of \u201cUnfiltered with Ricky Bo and Bill Colarulo,\u201d and revealed that an invitation was extended to him, but he decided to sit this one out. Swift and Kelce were married on July 3.<\/p>

\u201cI did get an invite, and I politely declined because I thought it was gonna be a crap show,\u201d Barkley told the host.<\/p>

He went on to say that this wasn\u2019t the only wedding he declined to attend.<\/p>

\u201cI don\u2019t go to weddings or funerals,\u201d Barkley admitted.<\/p>

Barkley showed some love for the Kelce family, making it clear that he thought fondly of them but the wedding was just not his scene.<\/p>

\u201cI love Travis and Jason \u2014 I\u2019ve only met Taylor one time \u2014 but yeah, I did get an invite but I said \u2018hey, you know what, that\u2019s just too much.\u2019\u201d<\/p>

Barkley opened up about where his heart really lies.<\/p>

\u201cI just wanna hang out and play golf,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t wanna dress up and all that other stuff.\u201d<\/p>

Despite bailing on the big event, Barkley shouted out to the newlyweds with a show of gratitude.<\/p>
