There were at least two reported incidents of illegal aliens killing or injuring Americans on the road within the first week of July.<\/p>\n

One illegal alien reportedly injured two Americans in North Carolina and killed a 6-year-old girl. Another reportedly injured two Americans in Michigan. (RELATED: ICE Kills Illegal Alien After Attempted Car Ramming, DHS Says)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Pitt County Sheriff\u2019s Office (PCSO) did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Authorities arrested Jaime Santiago Coronaafter he allegedly drove past a stop sign and crashed his truck into a minivan carrying a mother and two of her children in North Carolina on July 3, ABC News 12 reported.<\/p>\n

Authorities reportedly declared the 6-year-old daughter dead at the scene. The mother and her 4-year-old child were \u201cseriously\u201d injured, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

PCSO confirmed that a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE<\/span>) detainer was placed on Corona, according to ABC.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis monster [Corona] caused a car crash that killed a 6-year-old girl, and injured a mother and a 4-year-old,\u201d DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis stated in a July 8 press release. \u201cHe had previously been deported THREE times, and has a criminal history for driving under the influence of liquor. This tragedy was 100% preventable. Our prayers are with Calli Toler and her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The DHS deported Corona in 2019, 2023, and 2024, according to the department\u2019s press release. It\u2019s unknown when and where the Mexican national re-entered for a fourth time.<\/p>\n

A similar incident involving an illegal alien reportedly occurred in Michigan earlier that week.<\/p>\n

Authorities arrested Jose Manuel Cazarez-Pulidoafter he allegedly ran a red light and crashed his minivan into a motorcycle carrying a 64-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman on July 1, Fox 9 Detroit reported.<\/p>\n

The motorcycle\u2019s riders were \u201ccritically injured,\u201d per the outlet. Authorities reportedly said that they found an open beer bottle in Cazarez-Pulido\u2019s vehicle, but he didn\u2019t appear intoxicated.<\/p>\n

Waterford Police Department (WPD) detained Cazarez-Pulido as they waited for the U.S. Border Patrol agents to identify him, WPD confirmed to the DCNF.<\/p>\n

Cazarez-Pulido allegedly re-entered the U.S. from Mexico illegally, according to Fox.<\/p>\n

\u201cIllegal aliens continue to break American laws and threaten American lives. The only sure way to prevent these crimes is to keep them out of our country,\u201d U.S. Attorney Jerome Gorgon for the East District of Michigan reportedly said.<\/p>\n

Illegal aliens killed multiple Americans on the road \u2014 ranging from young children to senior citizens \u2014 over the years, the DHS stated in a May 2025 press release. <\/p>\n
