The rapper is attempting to recover $300,000 under a clause in the contract that required half the fee to be refunded if a pardon wasn\u2019t delivered, TMZ reported.<\/p>\n<p>According to the filing, the rapper\u2019s lawyer received a call on New Year\u2019s Day claiming that Trump had signed the pardon but the White House had not yet revealed the news. In 30 years of lobbying, I doubt we have ever done more work and harder work,\u201d Burkman told TMZ. \u201cThe provision in the contract he is referencing was never agreed to at all.
