They are here today. None of them have had a chance to speak to anyone in the department or FBI, though they\u2019ve asked repeatedly,\u201d the Democrat said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, can I get your word, under oath, that within the next 30 days you will personally sit down with these ten victims and hear their case in terms of what needs to be done by the Department of Justice?\u201d he asked Blanche.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" class=\"rumble\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/embed\/v7al4be\/?pub=3rtroj\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Blanche informed Durbin of the leader of the DOJ\u2019s task force investigating human trafficking who would be available to talk to the victims.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_2 --> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe can sit right next to you. She can sit right next to you when you meet with these survivors,\u201d Durbin continued to press Blanche. I have met with counsel for survivors, as many people in the department have done,\u201d Blanche said. \u201cBut if they are represented by counsel, we will work with their counsel. If they don\u2019t have a lawyer, I will certainly make arrangements to make sure that the right people will meet with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Durbin pressed Blanche to do it within the next 30 days. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will get it done today if that\u2019s necessary,\u201d Blanche said. \u201cMy point is, there\u2019s somebody here who can meet with them today, get their information, and arrange to meet with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The senator also criticized the Trump administration\u2019s handling of the Epstein files, claiming it \u201cwould not voluntarily produce these documents.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were prohibited by law from producing those documents,\u201d Blanche said. \u201cThis is Judiciary Committee. There are laws that did not allow us to produce those documents which we made plain in numerous court filings. President Trump had said from day one to release the files\u2014even when he was running. So, yes, he signed it into law, and we complied with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Durbin claimed that the administration went lengths to delay production of these documents which caused Congress to do \u201can extraordinary thing: discharge motion in the house to bring this matter before them and vote on a bipartisan basis\u201d to compel the administration to disclose the documents.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=3540\">Sen.
