{"id":4094,"date":"2026-08-03T17:07:01","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T17:07:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=4094"},"modified":"2026-08-03T17:07:01","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T17:07:01","slug":"most-americans-think-ai-will-make-work-worse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=4094","title":{"rendered":"Most Americans Think AI Will Make Work \u2018Worse\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_1 --> <\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The vast majority of American workers are currently super worried about how the artificial intelligence boom will impact their jobs, according to a new poll.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=4093\">Democratic Socialists Of America Supporters Have This In Common<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An Ipsos <span>poll<\/span>  Monday morning found that most American <span>employees<\/span>, 67%, believe AI will worsen the nation\u2019s \u201cworker experience\u201d by \u201celiminating jobs and putting greater pressure on workers to increase productivity.\u201d Meanwhile, 30% of respondents think <span>AI<\/span> will improve workers\u2019 overall experience by \u201cfreeing up time from repetitive tasks\u201d and helping employees to \u201ccomplete more challenging tasks,\u201d while 3% skipped that survey question, the poll shows. <span><strong>(RELATED: Anthropic Says Its AI Breached Containment Three Times)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Some Americans think the nation\u2019s top bosses will benefit the most from AI adoption in the workplace. Sixteen-percent of respondents said \u201conly\u201d business owners or executives, and 35% said \u201cmostly\u201d business owners or executives, compared to 27% who said business owners or executives and workers will benefit equally from the technology.<\/p>\n<p>Few respondents thought AI technology will do much to help those in the U.S. workforce. Just 5% of Americans think that \u201cmostly\u201d U.S. workers will benefit from AI, and 1% said \u201conly\u201d workers will benefit the most from the technology, according to the survey.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, 14% of respondents believe AI being used in the workplace \u201cwill not benefit anyone,\u201d and 3% did not answer that survey question, per the poll.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_2 --> <\/p>\n<p>The polling also suggests some U.S. workers are concerned about AI cutting their jobs, while others are split on whether the technology could bolster certain tasks in their workplace or make them more difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Other survey questions gave more detail about what U.S. workers worry about with AI. Only 6% thought AI is about to replace their jobs, but more were concerned AI will make their tasks harder (12%) or would make their work \u201cless fulfilling or satisfying\u201d (12%). AI slashed about 25,000 U.S. jobs each month over the past year, Fortune <span>reported<\/span> in April, citing Goldman Sachs data.<\/p>\n<p>Some members of Congress have recently sounded the alarm about AI\u2019s potential future impacts across the American workforce. Republican Michigan Rep. Tim Walberg <span>warned<\/span> in a June 22 statement that AI \u201cis transforming workplaces across the country faster than any technology in a generation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo keep pace, we must have reliable insight into how these technologies are affecting jobs, skills, and workforce needs,\u201d Walberg continued.<\/p>\n<p>The poll was conducted by Ipsos among 1,533 Americans ages 18-75 from June 11-16.
