A transgender reality television star is facing multiple felony charges after being arrested Sunday for alleged sexual assault of a child. <\/p>\n

Sidney Favors, who goes by Sidney Starr on social media, was taken into custody Sunday following an incident at an Embassy Suites in Hapeville, Georgia, according to Favors\u2019 arrest records. Favors has been charged with sexual battery against a child under the age of 16, aggravated child molestation, and sodomy. (RELATED: Doctor Pushing Puberty Blockers On Teen Boy Was Charged With Possessing Child Porn) <\/strong><\/p>\n

Favors remains at the Fulton County Jail while authorities continue to investigate, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. Favors\u2019 next court appearance is Aug. 25 in Fulton County Superior Court. <\/p>\n

\u201cBecause this case involves a juvenile, no additional information will be released from our agency,\u201d the Hapeville Police Department said in a statement to FOX 5 Atlanta.<\/p>\n

The transgender star has appeared in several reality TV shows, including \u201cBaddies ATL,\u201d \u201cLove and Hip Hop: New York,\u201d and \u201cThe Gworls Club,\u201d which Favors posted on Instagram, saying, \u201cThe transgender Divas are coming to the tv screens.\u201d Favors has also had appearances as an actor in shows \u201cEmpire,\u201d \u201cStar,\u201d and \u201cAmerican Gangster: Trap Queens.\u201d <\/p>\n

In 2024, TMZ reported that \u201cFamily Matters\u201d actor Darius McCarrey paid for Favors\u2019 transgender surgery. Afterwards, streamer Adam22 asked to be given Favors\u2019 \u201cremoved penis for safekeeping.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Fulton County Sheriff\u2019s department did not respond to the Daily Caller\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n
