The lawsuit, filed by Wondermind SRS 44LLC and Bespoke Wondermind LLC, alleged that Gomez and her mother defrauded investors, accusing them of taking money while their mental health organization, Wondermind Global, secretly crumbled behind the scenes, according to TMZ. <\/p>

The companies sued for securities fraud and are seeking unspecified damages, including the return of their investments.<\/p>

The lawsuit claimed Teefey struggled with a drug problem, and alleged that she and Gomez falsely represented the organization\u2019s infrastructure, leadership, and resources that were required to be profitable – all in an attempt to secure investment in their company.<\/p>

The companies claim to have invested over $1 million, contingent on Gomez actively promoting the organization on television and in interviews. They allege she made it appear she was heavily involved but failed to advocate for Wondermind Global after receiving the investment money.<\/p>

The court documents claimed that \u201cfor three years, while the company quietly collapsed around them, not one of its founders, officers or directors said a word to the investors whose money was funding the collapse,\u201d according to TMZ.<\/p>

The lawsuit also named Gomez and Teefey\u2019s former business partner, Daniella Pierson.<\/p>

Teefey pushed back against the allegations, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that a few disgruntled employees with an ax to grind can spread lies about me and distort the truth,\u201d according to TMZ.<\/p>
