The ESPN personality made the comments Thursday on his SiriusXM show \u201cStraight Shooter with Stephen A. Smith.\u201d Smith, a longtime Democrat, praised the Trump-backed frontrunner without reservation.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I ain\u2019t no d\u2014 Republican. But that mean if anybody could make me one, it would be him. I\u2019m just going to keep it a buck. I\u2019m just letting you know,\u201d Smith said. \u201cHe\u2019s the real deal. Make no mistake about it. I\u2019ve seen him battling with Democrats. I\u2019ve seen him battling with people on different shows, whatever. He ain\u2019t backing up.
