The White House briefed multiple conservative media figures on negotiations with Iran over a potential peace deal which could end the nearly three-month-long armed conflict.<\/p>\n

Multiple conservative media figures, including Salem Radio Network host Scott Jennings, Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany, Daily Caller Editorial Director Vince Coglianese, and Turning Point USA\u2019s Andrew Kolvet took to X to defend President Donald Trump\u2019s efforts following a briefing with a \u201csenior administration official.\u201d Coglianese outlined what the unidentified official told them about progress in the talks, saying there had been one marked shift in the Iranians\u2019 tone, using the phrase \u201cNO DUST, NO DOLLARS\u201d as the \u201ctopline.\u201d<\/p>\n

The senior administration official told Coglianese and others the Iranians were \u201cclearly talking details about getting rid of the enriched stockpile in a way they never have before\u201d and had agreed to end further uranium enrichment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have acknowledged that is something they\u2019re going to have to give on,\u201d the official added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIran doesn\u2019t get a dime unless they actually produce real results,\u201d Coglianese posted, adding, \u201cThe Trump administration believes it is now just days away from a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian regime. It won\u2019t be signed today or tomorrow, the official says, but that\u2019s primarily because communication with Iranian leadership moves very slowly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRelief is phased in when Iran actually delivers,\u201d Coglianese posted later. \u201cIf they deliver their stockpile of enriched uranium, they\u2019ll get some sanctions relief. If they deliver real long-term commitments to stop nuclear enrichment, they\u2019ll get some sanctions relief.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday to target critics of the agreement\u2019s rumored provisions. Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Trump Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and other conservatives expressed concern over the potential deal on social media, even citing how the reported deal drew praise from former Biden administration official Robert Malley. Malley was the lead negotiator of former President Barack Obama\u2019s 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with Iran; Trump said any deal he accepted would be nothing like the that which Obama signed. \u201cIf I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one, not like the one made by Obama, which gave Iran massive amounts of CASH, and a clear and open path to a Nuclear Weapon,\u201d Trump posted on Truth Social. \u201cOur deal is the exact opposite, but nobody has seen it, or knows what it is. It isn\u2019t even fully negotiated yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo don\u2019t listen to the losers, who are critical about something they know nothing about,\u201d he continued. \u201cUnlike those before me who should have solved this problem many years ago, I don\u2019t make bad deals!\u201d<\/p>\n
