One day later, two artists announced they will not attend.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/hometransferguide.com\/?p=775\">New York Will Now Force Some Drivers To Put Device In Car Or Risk Registration<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Great American State Fair will take place at the National Mall in Washington, DC from June 25 \u2013 July 10, but it will unfold without performances by Young MC and Morris Day. Both artists took to social media to state they would not be participating, despite the inclusion of their names in Freedom 250\u2019s performance schedule.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>View this post on Instagram<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<p>A post shared by Van Silk (@rapamania_vansilk)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI HAVE INFORMED MY AGENTS THAT I WILL NOT BE PERFORMING AT THE FREEDOM 250 EVENT,\u201d Young MC wrote in a statement shared on Instagram and X.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe artists were never told about any political involvement with the event,\u201d the famous continued. \u201cAnd despite the claims by the organizers that the event is non-partisan, SPIN magazine describes it as Trump-backed. I hope to perform in D.C. in the near future at an event that is not so politically charged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_2 --> <\/p>\n<p>Young MC also recorded a personal video message to clarify his position.<\/p>\n<p>He said his agent called him about the event, and his response was, \u201cTrump freedom show?\u201d I\u2019m like what are you talking about?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He recalled the conversation.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/10519169\/dailycaller_incontent_3 --> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy agent called me about three months ago and said, \u2018you, you wanna do a show on the 25th in Washington,\u2019 I said \u2018yeah,\u2019 I do shows in Washington all the time. He didn\u2019t say nothing about Trump.
