That\u2019s how it\u2019s always been, until recently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, that stance now appears to have changed.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cYour conduct has violated the <\/span><i><span>Code of Conduct for Commonwealth Appointees to Boards, Authorities, and Commissions<\/span><\/i><span>, the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors\u2019 <\/span><i><span>Code of Ethics<\/span><\/i><span>, and the governing statutes requiring board members to act in accordance with the best interests of Virginia Tech,\u201d Spanberger wrote in the , dated Wednesday, May 27. According to the Virginia Public Access Project donor database, Baine donated $5,000 to Spanberger\u2019s 2025 gubernatorial campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Rocovich attended Virginia Tech from 1963 to 1966, graduating cum laude from the College of Business. Since then, he served at Virginia Tech in various roles.
