Democratic Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton was asked whether or not he supported Platner, the Democratic Party nominee for Senate in Maine.

Platner has been accused of inappropriate behavior towards several women, including one which told The New York Times he could be quite rough with her, especially when drinking. The woman also accused Platner of saying, “if anyone ever broke in here, I would rape them. Not in a sexual way, not in a gay way. I would rape them to show them I’m dominant.” Platner recently had a Nazi-affiliated tattoo covered up. He also posted about public masturbation, among several other questionable and potentially offensive comments on Reddit.

Moulton responds by asking the interviewer, “who are you, who are you asking this question?” The congressman then proceeds to slap the phone out of the hand of the interviewer, saying, “you got to do a better job of hanging on to your phone.”

In response to the video, Moulton posted on X, “Typical MAGA to classify an @AmericaRising tracker as a ‘reporter.’” The congressman said in the post on X replying to the video.

“I’m not going to apologize for how much MAGA pisses me off. I’ll take them on anywhere, anytime, and I won’t back down. If this tracker can’t handle a reality check or hold onto his own equipment, that’s on him. Sorry not sorry.”

“If @FoxNews wants me back on their airwaves so badly, they should stop ghosting my team,” the post concluded.

Platner is set to represent the Democratic Party in the general election in November after winning 72% of the vote in the primary election.
