Shaquille O’Neal Pushes Back On Celebrity Status, Says They’re All ‘A**holes’

The NBA legend kicked off the interview by explaining his passion for true crime stories in his newly launched series, “Game Day Murders.”
When the interviewer posed a question and referred to O’Neal as a celebrity, he quickly spoke up and shunned the title.
“Excuse my French, but celebrities are assholes, and I don’t wanna be in that category,” he told Page Six.
O’Neal addressed the topic firmly but graciously.
“But thank you for thinking I’m a celebrity but I’m just a regular person who listens to his mommy and daddy and follows his dreams and stay out of trouble,” he told Page Six.

The interviewer laughed as O’Neal said that he perceives himself to be a regular guy.
