Tony Romo Turning Field Sobriety Test Into NFL Draft Scouting Film Is Crazy Work

I’m confused … is he getting arrested? Or is he about to make a comeback?

As you’ll see from newly released bodycam footage, Dallas Cowboys legend Tony Romo went all-in (if you want to call it that) with a recent field sobriety test. But unfortunately for the ex-quarterback, things didn’t work out.

Romo was recently arrested after a Wisconsin golf tournament and issued an OWI charge. Originally, police pulled Romo over due to “unsafe passing” on a highway in Milwaukee, and he ended up telling the officer that he just left a golf course and had “zero” drinks prior to requesting a phone call with his lawyer.

Police eventually asked him to get out of his vehicle, with Romo responding, “Because I’m coming from a golf course, you think I’m drunk?” (RELATED: ‘I Don’t Feel Bad With The Tears And All That’: LeSean McCoy Calls Out Ryan Clark For Attention-Seeking)

Well, Romo ended up being detained by police and he was transported to a local station where he took field sobriety tests. And as you’ll see, he apparently didn’t pass them considering he was placed under arrest.

“Sorry, two back surgeries, I need to stand here,” stated Romo prior to warming up in the parking garage like he was trying to impress NFL draft scouts.

Later in the footage, Romo is seen doing the tests, all for a pair of handcuffs to be slapped on him.

“Did I pass this test?” questioned Romo prior to getting arrested. “No I didn’t, huh?”

WATCH:

I’m not going to get into the whole “breaking the law” thing with Romo, we’re all very aware how bad drunk driving is, but I’m just saying, the sight of seeing Romo stretch for his sobriety test like he’s getting ready for the NFL Combine is wild.

After this, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an NFL team call him up like he’s 45-year-old Tom Brady.
