The celebrity entertainment blogger and media personality sliced his body with a knife repeatedly while on camera, as stunned fans frantically reported the bloody incident in a desperate attempt to get him some help. TMZ shared a video of an ambulance outside of Hilton’s Miami home, and confirmed that the 47-year-old is currently in hospital. Hilton will undergo a psychiatric evaluation and is receiving medical care for his wounds.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officers issued a statement saying, “The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family,” according to TMZ.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews received numerous emergency calls when the self-harm video began streaming, and rushed to Hilton’s home.
Multiple units responded at approximately 11 pm, according to 911 audio reviewed by Page Six. The outlet reported that law enforcement officials remained on-site for hours.

Authorities said Perez was located alone inside the residence. Crisis intervention techniques were used to de-escalate the situation, with initial reports suggesting Hilton had barricaded himself inside.

911 dispatch audio reviewed by Page Six included such horrific details of Hilton’s self-harm that the outlet opted not to publicize the information. The recordings revealed that a “suicide attempt” was reported at 10:41 pm.
Hilton’s three children, Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8, were not home at the time of the incident.
Page Six reported that Hilton’s camp is “aware of the concerning content circulating online” but “have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him.”
Hilton’s current condition remains unknown. Details surrounding what led to the frightening incident were not disclosed.
