Enes Kanter Freedom Ejected From WNBA Game After Confrontation With Sky’s Natasha Cloud

Enes Kanter Freedom, who formerly played in the NBA, was ejected from the game Sunday between the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever following a confrontation with Chicago guard Natasha Cloud. While sitting courtside, Kanter Freedom was wearing a black T-shirt with the words “WOMAN noun. adult human female.” In a timeout near the end of the third quarter, Cloud started approaching Kanter Freedom and yelling at him. Standing up, Kanter Freedom had his arms outstretched and started walking to the court prior to security cutting him off and directing him to exit the building.

From there, Kanter Freedom pumped his fist and went on to mock Cloud by using his hand to make a talking gesture. While he was making an argument that he shouldn’t be forced to leave, he waved to the crowd with his arms prior to holding his shirt out while leaving.

Kanter Freedom spoke with police prior to his departure from Wintrust Arena.

Following the Sky’s 113-90 defeat, Cloud met with security from both the WNBA and her franchise. She did not talk with the press.

Enes Kanter Freedom’s attire and courtside gestures were clearly intended to provoke a reaction, and Natasha Cloud was stupid enough to take the bait to allow more fuel to be thrown into the fire for Enes’ WNBA “dreams.”
