Ex-Wife Reportedly Launches $10 Million Claim Against Late NASCAR Driver’s Estate
Late NASCAR star Greg Biffle’s ex-wife reportedly filed a $10 million lawsuit against his estate over their daughter’s death in the plane crash that also killed Biffle.
Nicole Biffle accused Greg and others of negligence in their daughter Emma’s death in the December 18, 2025 plane crash that also killed Greg, according to TMZ.
There were a total of seven people aboard the aircraft that crashed minutes after the jet took off from Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina. There were no survivors.
Nicole’s legal filing claimed Emma was sick on the day of the plane crash and had asked not to take the trip. She alleged that Greg was “insistent that Emma accompany him,” despite their daughter’s request to stay behind, according to TMZ.
Nicole’s court documents requested an order preventing Biffle’s estate from making any further distributions of his assets to ensure there is money left to pay her claim.

The first two lawsuits were filed on behalf of Dennis Dutton and his son Jack, who were on board the plane, according to TMZ.
Biffle earned 19 Cup Series victories during his career from 2002 to 2016. NASCAR named him one of its 75 Greatest Drivers.
