Did Laura Loomer Get Milo Yiannopoulos Deported?

Conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and his online arch-nemesis was quick to take credit.

Laura Loomer boasted that she was the first to claim Yiannopoulos was in the country illegally just moments after news broke of his detention in New Orleans, Louisiana. The British-born’s immigration status has recently fallen under scrutiny by Loomer and other loyalists after Yiannopoulos began criticizing President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said Yiannopoulos entered the country legally on May 14, 2019, but that he “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.” (RELATED: Marc Thiessen Praises Laura Loomer After She Travels To Ukraine)

Yiannopoulos was detained in New Orleans on Friday, the same day his longtime friend Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is scheduled to perform there.

“Being in detention is a choice,” DHS said in a post on X. “We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now.”

“We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.”

“I was the first person to report on the fact that Milo was in the US illegally where he incited violence against President Trump and worked for Marjorie Traitor Greene,” Loomer wrote in a Friday post on X.

Loomer quickly set her sights on her next target, calling on Attorney General Todd Blanche to investigate former Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who also had a falling out with Trump. Yiannopoulos served as an intern in Greene’s congressional office.
