Dolly Parton’s Nephew Reportedly Ousted Amid Explosive Estate Battle

Dolly Parton’s nephew and former head of security was reportedly dismissed abruptly from his position amid an escalating war over the star’s estate.

Bryan Seaver, who announced Parton’s death in a video posted to her official Instagram page, was reportedly issued a termination notice informing him that he and his security companies had their access to all properties owned by Parton revoked, according to TMZ.

Seaver and his team are pointing fingers at Dolly’s longtime manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank, and told TMZ they are “dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions.”

TMZ shared a video showing someone who appeared to be Seaver rejected and turned away at Parton’s security gate.

Sources close to the situation said the notice was issued Wednesday and replacement guards immediately took post at Parton’s main Nashville residence.

The new team of agents also descended on the legend’s museum, downtown residence, and warehouse, according to TMZ.

The letter of termination said the properties and all of Parton’s professional business interests are held by the DP Dean Trust, but notes that Seaver’s personal interest in the trust remains intact.

“We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family, and we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,” Seaver and his team told TMZ.
