She then clarified that “they shot the window out of the car,” according to People.
“It was a drive-by. It was back in the late ‘80s, early ‘90s. I leaned over to tie my shoes and it’s just like ‘pop pop pop’ and the whole thing shattered,” Sweetin said.
Sweetin recalled the moment during the discussion that included fellow “Full House” stars Candace Cameron Bure, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger and Andrea Barber.

The actress said she and Saget “ran off” after the shocking incident unfolded, and had to wait for two station wagon taxis to pick them up, noting that Uber wasn’t an option back then.
“Bob had to drive me home and explain to my mom what happened,” Sweetin shared.

Stamos asked Sweetin how the incident managed to go unreported by the press.
“To this day I told that story and I wonder if it actually, it’s one of those like, ‘Did that actually happen?’” she said.
Sweetin continued, “I was there and I doubt that it happened, but it actually did.”
