The actress’s ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, accused Berry of abuse against their teen son, Maceo, but Aubry told the court that she has never witnessed any abusive behavior.
“I have never seen my mom hit, slap, choke, grab, or physically abuse Maceo in any way,” she said in a written declaration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to Page Six.

Aubry, 18, claimed that she had never seen Berry abuse Maceo in any way and addressed the allegations made by Martinez point by point.
She went on to say, “I have never seen my mom place her hands around Maceo’s neck, put him in a chokehold, restrict his breathing, or engage in any conduct remotely resembling the allegations that have been made against her.”
Martinez accused Berry of all those alleged incidents of abuse that he claimed unfolded Sept. 26 in a heated exchange.

Her declaration continued, “My mom is a loving and devoted parent. She can be strict when necessary and expects her children to follow rules and be respectful. At the same time, she is warm, supportive and deeply involved in our lives.”
“I never observed anything abusive about her parenting,” she said, according to Page Six.
Aubry said she was “shocked, very sad and very upset” when she learned of Martinez’s allegations against her mother. (RELATED: Halle Berry Breaks Silence, Denies Abusing Teenage Son)

She further stated that she chatted with Maceo Sept. 29, and he “didn’t seem upset about anything.”
Berry had firmly denied all allegations against her.
A judge granted Martinez primary custody while restricting Berry to court-ordered visitation to two days a week and every other weekend.
A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 16.
