Get this: The only other option he has is getting surgery that would end his career.
Taking to social media Tuesday, Hart issued a response to a picture of him practicing while his finger was taped, revealing that the only thing that will fix his injury is to have joint replacement surgery that would end his career as a professional athlete.
“Just so I don’t got to answer this question anymore. There is no other surgery for me to get besides a joint replacement,” tweeted Hart. “If I get a joint replacement, I can’t play with it, and my career is over. So it will be wrapped until I retire.”
Josh Hart is essentially looking at medical science, shrugging his shoulders, and saying, “Tape it up, let’s hoop.” And he’s doing this in the “load management” era, which makes it even more impressive. (RELATED: NBA Down To Three Finalists For Who Will Own Las Vegas Franchise: REPORT)

Most guys would spend the offseason consulting seven different specialists before ultimately sitting out for God knows how long.
But this is why Knicks fans treat the man like a folk hero. Hart embodies the gritty, blue-collar edge that Madison Square Garden has starved for since the 1990s.
You can question the medical logic all day long, but you can’t question that absolute DAWG in him.
