The reality television star checked into a hospital for a stent procedure, but during the process, doctors discovered a more serious issue and determined bypass surgery was required, according to TMZ.

“Today, Rick was discharged from the hospital and is now resting at home,” a spokesperson for the Harrison family told TMZ.

“By all accounts, he’s now doing great,” they added.

Harrison’s family noted he was resting comfortably at home after the successful surgery and is grateful to the hospital staff for the treatment he received, according to People. They went on to say that he is optimistic about making a full recovery with the support of his wife, Angie, and his loved ones.
