Famous Electronic Music Producer Kavinsky Found Dead In His Home At Age 50

French electronic music producer DJ Kavinsky was found dead in his home in Paris Tuesday at the age of 50.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Authorities have launched an investigation, though they have not reported any indication of foul play at this time, according to Variety. The Paris prosecutor’s office also said first responders “found no suspicious elements at the scene,” according to Reuters.

Kavinsky wrote the 2010 single “Nightcall,” made ​famous ⁠by the movie “Drive”, featuring Ryan Gosling.

“Nightcall” catapulted Kavinsky’s career on a worldwide scale. He produced the hit alongside Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, with vocals from Lovefoxxx.

The talented artist was born Vincent Belorgey in Seine-Saint-Denis in 1975.
