Rams’ Puka Nacua Explains Injury That Left Him Bleeding From Face After Running Into Door At Michael Rubin Party

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is used to taking hits while out on the football field, but one of his most painful injuries may have taken place off it. It happened at a party over the offseason thanks to a glass door.

Speaking about the situation on the “Impaulsive” podcast, Nacua admitted that during a party that was hosted by Michael Rubin, the founder of Fanatics, he ran into a glass window pane. Per Nacua, he was distracted due to looking for his teammate Davante Adams, and as a result, he didn’t spot the clean glass pane that was in front of him. “Uh, the glass window pane won,” said Nacua.

Witnessing the aftermath at the party, podcast host Mike Majlak said that he saw a commotion prior to being aware of what happened. Majlak added that Nacua was “bleeding” from his face.

Nacua stated that he wasn’t originally aware of how he got cut, and that he wasn’t the only person who knocked into the door.

“They made me feel better when they said three other people ran into it,” said Nacua. “But nobody else ended up bleeding from it. So I don’t know if that made me feel much better or worse.”

Luckily for the Rams organization, the injury Nacua suffered wasn’t severe. While dealing with a minor groin injury that happened on the field, the door cut injury was never going to keep him off it.
