Holly Schroedter Adams, 41, faces one count of tampering with physical evidence and two counts of purchasing or furnishing alcohol to a minor, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies booked her into the Brazoria County Detention Center on Tuesday. She posted a $26,000 bond and left the same day.
The indictment alleges Adams, 41, wiped a Snapchat account in August 2025 so detectives could not pull any data from it. Adams was allegedly aware at the time that she was the subject of a law enforcement investigation, The Facts reported. The felony count carries two to 10 years behind bars and a $10,000 maximum fine. Angleton High School administrators alerted the sheriff’s office in August 2025 after a tip arrived through a reporting portal, Public Affairs Director Sabrina Quintanilla told The Facts. The agency received the accusations Aug. 28, 2025, Univision Houston reported.
Adams does not face a charge of improper relationship between educator and student, the offense investigators initially cited in last year’s search warrant, ABC13 reported. None of the filed counts allege a physical relationship with a student, according to The Facts. It is unclear if additional charges will be filed.

Deputies took custody of four cell phones, 11 nude photographs and a book of nude images when they served the warrant last year, ABC13 reported. The tampering allegation dates to two days after that search.
A student told campus staff that Adams was involved with a former student, the station reported. That student described a summer FaceTime call from a bedroom in Adams’ house, where nude images of her covered the bed, plus a separate picture of Adams and the former student cuddling on a sofa.
Investigators wrote that Adams invited students over to help with chores and that she acknowledged to administrators that she spoke with three baseball players on Snapchat, according to ABC13.
Adams no longer works for Angleton ISD, a spokesperson told Fox News Digital. The district declined to discuss her employment with ABC13.
