The collision involved USC Trojans linebacker Desman Stephens II. The hit took place in the second quarter of Oregon’s 41-27 victory.

According to a team spokesperson, Moore has movement in all of his extremities and is under evaluation at Los Angeles General County Hospital. (RELATED: Texas’ Colin Simmons Gives Us Most Hilarious Scene Of The Day After Going From ‘Urinating’ To ‘What The Funk?’)

“We’re getting him checked out,” said head coach Dan Lanning during a radio interview at halftime, per ESPN. “Obviously we’ve got to be very thorough with [what] that looks like. We’re all praying for him right now.”

In USC territory on first down, Moore ran up the field prior to sliding. However, while in the process, Stephens hit him hard, resulting in Moore’s head knocking into the ground.

Moore stayed down on the field while a brawl broke out between each team at midfield, with coaches having to separate multiple players. Officials penalized Stephens for targeting and disqualified him from the rest of the game, while both Oregon and USC were issued unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

After Moore was examined by the Ducks training staff for a lengthy period while he remained on the ground, he was placed on a stretcher and put on a cart. From there, he was taken off the field, repositioned onto another gurney, and placed into an ambulance.
