Aaron Rodgers Goes After Trump, Says ‘There’s No MAGA Movement’

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers criticized President Donald Trump’s second-term performance Thursday, arguing the MAGA movement is dead because Trump failed to fulfill campaign promises.

“There’s no MAGA movement. There’s no Make America Great Again movement. Because the guy you elected hasn’t done any of his campaign promises, and eventually you realize nothing’s actually going to change,” Rodgers said during an appearance on “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward.” (RELATED: Steve Bannon Proposes Unorthodox Candidate To Replace Fetterman, Thune)

He then teed off on the administration, drawing a comparison to former President Barack Obama.

“When Obama was president, everybody thought there’d be hope and change for a better world. But did anything in the Black community get significantly better? Is anybody better off? Did the Affordable Care Act make a major difference besides being an extra tax? Is health care that much better in this country? Then Trump comes in, says he’s going to drain the swamp and do something, and nothing happens, nothing changes. Then they roll out that old bag of bones [President Joe Biden]. That was a wild four years. And then you bring back the guy from the TV show; now he’s really going to change things, right? This is his second time, so now he’s really going to fix everything. Politics is a total sham.”

Rodgers also called out the administration’s handling of the Epstein Files, specifically naming FBI Director Kash Patel, criticized Trump for launching a war with Iran, suggested the administration was too pro-Israel and questioned how many elected representatives were “sponsored by AIPAC.” (RELATED: ‘We Absolutely Screwed Up’: JD Vance Admits Admin Botched Epstein Files Release)

“I was actually excited because, you know, that moron Kash Patel, he goes on Rogan — which I watch a lot because I like Joe, and Joe’s a friend — and he says, ‘Day one, we’re going, we’re opening up the Epstein files.’ There’s been nothing but the obstruction of transparency with this entire administration. Anybody who even liked Trump or thought that things would change, like, this is a pro-Israel first administration. And when you dig into it, that’s the uni-party. It’s, how many members of Congress are sponsored by AIPAC?”
